VERY TASTY!! the plum wine was delicious. tuna and salmon was just right. rice was perfect. the ginger, couldn't get enough, so good. the sake was good but the vessel it came in spilled when pouring, bad spout. staff friendly and relaxed, made us feel welcome. View all feedback.

Dropped into the empty restaurant for a table for 2, was told they had a table that they'd have to have back in 1 hour. Got given menus and a few minutes later asked for our drinks order, they only had a white wine that was available by the bottle and we were discouraged from ordering that because we had such little time to drink it. Amazing sushi. Also had the cha Han which was spicy and lovely. Hoping to have the noodles next time.
We can’t recommend this wonderful little restaurant enough. Everything, the atmosphere, the staff and the food is excellent. We visited with a 13 year old and a 10 year old who state it’s the best Japanese food they have ever eaten (and they have eaten a lot! . Make sure you book it’s very popular.
This restaurant is small, lively, and always bustling. It's popular for takeout as well. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the food is always amazing.
Sushi Life is highly deserving of its 5 star rating. Best sushi I have had in 5+ years, ranks up there with some of the sushi I’ve had in Tokyo and NYC. Staff was on point and accommodated my sons special requests of boiled tofu. Really my dinner at Sushi Life was the highlight of my stay in Cardiff…
Absolutely amazing food. Tried several things on the menu, each more mouth watering than the last. Very cosy and friendly atmosphere. Service with a smile! Highly recommend
