We ordered and paid at the kiosk with no issues. The restaurant was clean but there were tables that needed wiped down and the dish return area was full. It was mid lunch rush so there must be allowances knowing staffing challenges lately.
I haven 't eaten at a Panera Bread in many years, so this was all sort of new to me. The three of us ordered items with the 2 for designation, but it appears that the cashier rang it up incorrectly and we instead paid for two full meals each at the fullprice. My wife was taking care of payment so I didn 't really pay attention to the total, but when we sat down to wait for ourfood, I was a bit surprised by the total. We had a receipt but it just had the total, and not a breakdown of what we ordered. Odd. When the food arrived, it didn 't seem like they were half sized portions, so that is likely what happened. No, we didn 'tgo complain to thw cashier, as it was probably too late. Anyways, the tables weren 't that clean, but somebody did often emptythe area where you return the plates and silverware. The drinks were overpriced and the food was okay. The Cobb Salad that Ihad was good, but the teriyaki chicken broccoli bowl wasn 't that good. I 'm not sure what was the name of the fancy rice thatthey used, but I didn 't like it, and neither did my daughter who also ordered that same bowl. My wife had soup and salad andshe liked it, but wasn 't crazy about the expensive iced tea that she bought. So, the place was okay, not great, and we wereovercharged. I won 't be coming back here for a while.
