I bought a loaf of Salt Rising Bread at the Clinton Fall Festival this past weekend. It is wonderful! It tastes like the bread that my Grandmother made when I was a child. I purchased a loaf of Salt Rising Bread at the Clinton Fall Festival last weekend, and it was absolutely delightful! It reminds me of the bread my grandmother used to make when I was a child. I finally discovered a baker who makes a salt rising loaf reminiscent of one I enjoyed many years ago from a bakery that specialized in that type of bread. I will definitely buy it again. I picked up the loaf at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market and will have to check if they will be at a winter market nearby.
I discovered them at the Kalamazoo Expo Center. We tried the strawberry Bavarian cake, and it was excellent! I wish I had bought more than one.
