What User doesn't like about Ms. Gene’s Place:
rude people. The lady who was serving dinner on Sept 3 did not show any interest to talk to us what we needed. We were standing for a while, and she did not even notice us. she should be fired from the job View all feedback.

We're so disappointed that we won't be able to enjoy their culinary creations and great company when we return to Minnesota.
We decided to have breakfast at this restaurant while staying at the hotel. The eggs were delicious, and they provided a pitcher of water and a sink at the table. George, our waiter, was incredibly friendly and attentive. He refilled our coffee and shared the history of the area with us. We had a pleasant time and were able to catch our bus on time.
My wife and I stumbled upon Elizabeth's enchanting little restaurant while looking for a place to grab a drink. We ended up staying for over two hours, enjoying the best meal of our trip. It felt like we were dining in our own living room, with Elizabeth not only serving us delicious cocktails but also acting as sous chef, hostess, server, and bartender. I opted for the Surf and Turf, which was perfectly cooked with amazing shrimp. My wife chose the Gorgonzola pasta and was moved to tears by the sauce. Elizabeth was friendly, attentive, and helpful, not just to us but to all the guests in the restaurant. It's clear that Elizabeth and her partner run a tight ship, making our dining experience truly unforgettable.
Our first time to eat here yesterday evening and wow! it was different than any other place in the city. dinner with friends with what felt like our own private chef. service was excellent, dinner and desert were exceptional. drink, eat and annoy!
