Was Anonym at Vale a mag?
this site never disappoints with sorceres, on this occasion meloso with red shrimp and clams, very good! some mussels steam riquísimos and sepionet that has not convinced me, other times it was better. They didn't put the typical Peruvian on us, and when they asked for it, they got us out a little bit. the most delicious Catalan cream View all feedback.
We all had pizza and salad for our lunch, the pizzas were really nice, very thin and lots of topping. This restaurant is in a great position, just off the beach. Good quick service. Would return.
My wife and I have visited Vale several times. This unpretentious restaurant is tucked away in the residential area of Playa de San Juan. At the weekend be well advised to book a table there as it is usually crowded, especially in the summer. Also be prepared for a long wait. Expect to spend at least two hours over lunch. However, the wait is worth it as the typical Spanish family atmosphere is entertaining and the food is superb. The establishment specialises in rices. We have tried the rabbit and snails one last time. The Banda rice is one of the best I have ever had! The service is efficient and friendly and as you wait you can try the limited wine list and try some other starters.
Absolutely delicious. They have great rices and paellas, all cooked to order on site. The fish and seafood are very fresh. The only thing is that finding the restaurante can be a bit hard, it's hidden behind others, but just ask around.
A little gem we were put onto by a local while we were staying in nearby Alicante. It's a tram ride away, near the beautiful San Juan Playa (beach . We tried to go there for dinner on Wednesday night but it was closed. It is open Thursday to Sunday, so we went back the next day for lunch this time we rang ahead and booked. The person who answered the phone didn't speak English but found someone who did, who was very helpful and booked us in and took a preorder from us for a tuna paella. We took the wrong tram and had to ring back to say we'd be late they were very accommodating. When we finally arrived we had a table reserved in the courtyard under the shade of an umbrella. It was quaint. The waiter who'd spoken to us on the phone took us on as his pet project and translated the menu for us. We had some salad and calamari and sangria to start with. Then they brought out the sangria in a huge pan and sat it on a little table next to our table and served it up to us, and oh my goodness it was amazing. There was so much there we didn't get through it all, so they packed it up into a takeaway container and we enjoyed it cold for lunch the next day, and it was still delicious : This place was a great find, am done of our highlights. We enjoyed walking it off with a walk along the beautiful San Juan Playa a great day. Would go back in a heartbeat.
