One menu including bread, dessert, a drink, paella, fried fish and calamares plus salad for only 20 euros? Fantastic, right? So we thought. We arrived there, we heard that we couldn't take one menu for just three people as one menu is only enough for two people and the restaurant only accepts one menu per two people, not more. So we had to buy a second one even though we were not that hungry. Our drinks arrived first, we then immediately received our fried fish and calamares which was already an indication that it was not fresh! It didn't taste fresh at all either, and it tasted like rubber. It also looked like it came out of a deep freezer bag, rather than calamares that was caught fresh. The paella had very undercooked rice, which ruined the taste of the entire dish. We couldn't even finish it. We then had to wait at least a half hour before someone even brought us a tab. After waiting that long, we hear that there is still a dessert to come. They had forgotten about us! The dessert was fruit with bread pudding and tiramisu, not fresh at all. I was scared to even eat it. Don't recommend this restaurant in any healthy circumstances.

Salad and bread on table, did not order, 8 euro on bill. Total was 98 euro, a robbery. Bandidos...............

We needed a... read more Ordered one of the set menus after a walk for an hour. Salad, fried sardines and calamares, rice with pulpo and finally some melon and a small cake. We needed another cana and a café solo to top it off. We had bocked the table for 13:00 but after half an hour they placed a note that our table was reserved for 13:45!!!! Never happened to us before and gave a bad feeling

We loved... read more Second time on Tabarca, first time having lunch on Amparin Restaurante. It was great! We ordered the seafood plate wich was fresh, tasty and delicious. We loved the smell of the fish and seafood near the salty water, the perfect dish to taste on the island. The service was good, although the restaurant was full.
