It's a great a fine dini... read more We stayed at Punta Negra Hotel and had breakfast at the restaurant every morning. On the first evening we also stayed there for dinner. It's a great a fine dining restaurant delicious food, great service and the view is simply superb. The restaurant is located right on the beach overlooking the Punta Negra beach. It's the best spot to enjoy the sunset. But when we asked the bill, restaurant manager did some strange manipulations pretty much avoiding to show us the bill and said we can find it tomorrow at reception. The whole scene was a bit weird... So when we were checking out of the hotel and checked the bill for the restaurant, magically 2 extra drinks that we did not order appeared on the bill. It was very easy to spot because I don't drink and my husband had only one beer. Hotel receptionist took these 2 drinks out and did not charge us for it. But you know, it's not very nice adding to someone's bill extra items to make them pay more... the restaurant is not cheap already. A modest dinner for 2 will cost you about 150 EURO, so adding extra items to make you pay 25 EUROS more seems a bit meh. May be it was a genuine mistake but restaurant's manager behavior suggested there was something fishy going on. So... the restaurant is still great, the food is awesome and I would recommend visiting it if you're in the area. BUT check your bill before paying it.

But the restaurant does have vegetarian options, not many but enough to go by. Staff is five stars!

A gorgeous restaurant set on the sea front food cooked fresh on the bbq in front of you and one of the best pasta dishes I have ever tasted the only reason we s... read more A gorgeous restaurant set on the sea front food cooked fresh on the bbq in front of you and one of the best pasta dishes I have ever tasted the only reason we scored it a 4 and not a 5 was we thought this was a little pricey, that said it didn’t stop us eating here 3 times in a week but perhaps there could be a subsidised price for hotel guests (outside of half board) Definitely worth a visit!!!
