I was soon seated, though, and there were pag... read more I took my chances here without making reservations on a weekend and was initially discouraged because it was full. I was soon seated, though, and there were pages and pages of pizza choices on the menu! I finally pulled the trigger on one choice and was treated to one of the finest pizzas I have ever had. The crust was thin, crispy yet chewy, with ingredients bursting with flavor. What won me over even more was when I asked for a suggestion for an accompanying drink, and instead of some wine the waiter matter-of-factly replied I usually have a beer. Perfecto! OK!

They sp... read more We ordered take out and took it back to our apartment. The staff were super super friendly and even made the effort to allow us to get take out dessert! They spoke to me in Italian to help me practice rather than immediately switching to English the moment they sensed my Italian was not fluent (which a lot of places do). The overall vibe from the staff was very welcoming. The pizza was prompt and delicious, somewhere between the really thin crisp Roman pizza and the airy Neapolitan. Chips were unexpectedly good too! Panna cotta with saffron and cherries... Wow
