Octopus main was cooked well but rather small portion size. Waiter talked us into ordering a lobster, said he would find one small enough for one person. Ran past table with the live lobster, didn’t weigh it in front of us or said how much it would cost. I was very shocked to see on the bill this had cost €120! It was cooked well, but not served with claws (presumably these are used for the other lobster dishes on the menu). We left feeling ripped off with a sour taste for this restaurant. Had the server of been more upfront with us this could of been avoided. Unfortunately we won’t return.

To our surprise and... read more I made an online reservation for ristorante La Lepanto in Alghero, Sardinia and I even received a confirmation of the reservation by email. To our surprise and disappointment, the ristorante was closed when we showed up. It put us in a very bad situation since we did not have a reservation anywhere else. Luckily the ristorante Nautilus, along the harbor , offered us a table. Reviews to come.

Beautiful location by the sea (away from the crowds in the centre) smart restaurant (so don’t expect a “cheap” lunch/diner) with professional staff which were friendly and efficient. A lot of Italians come here (so I guess it must be a good place. Other wise it wouldn’t survive) We had the raw platter which was fab and super fresh followed by the lobster pasta. The sauce was amazing flavoursome and well made. The only point is a little more lobster would have been a bonus. But that’s because I’m greedy !!! Overall a great experience and we had a good time.
