Visited Cohiba on probably the busiest day of the year (Ferragosto) so it was very loud and busy, and HOT! Friendly service, food very quick to arrive and tasty. The sides were forgotten (and one was actually not available) but we forgave them because they were so busy. It happens. We’d love to go back on a quieter eve and have a more leisurely dinner. Be warned: the dessert pizza was ridiculously big and rich!
Last day of our holidays a bit cloudy we decide to meet friends for a bye drink and a meal for 7 Made the mistake of sitting at this dump, after 25 minutes of waiting at the table we try to go to the bar and start ordering drinks; we been shouted at to sit outside and wait. There seem to be lots of waiters and bar people doing nothing or chatting about. We replied that we had been waiting a long time and if we could order the drink and explain where you were seated before someone who come to take our food orders. Some particularly confrontational short bad mannered barman barked back that the staff were changing shifts and we just had to go and sit down and wait. So we went and sat down (at the bar across the road Sbisa’ across road). The stuff and quality of Sbisa was excellent. We know when we will be going when we are back in Fertilia!
Missed breakfast so me and the missus looked for a lunch. We were not disappointed when we found Cohiba, our waitress was not only good looking but very efficient. The only downside was my wife had her meal a good 5 minutes before me. Simple food in a lively place which was completely different to Fertilia which had seen better days
Enjoyed a walk to Fertilia from Alghero and needed an Aperativo to refresh before walking back. Found Cohiba and enjoyed an Aperol Soda. Wanted a pizza but got told that’s only at night. Staff are friendly and nice to just sit and enjoy a quiet Italian village away from the touristy feel of Alghero.
The atmosfere was lively and friendly, the pizzas were delicious and the selection of international beers surprising. The grilled sausage was ok but nothing special. Unfortunately, I chose a horse steak which was not on the menu but recommended by the waiter: the meat was like rubber, difficult not only to chew but also to cut! My recommendation: stay with the pizzas!
