This is a bit of a special place. This is my second visit and the food was once again excellent. Apart from the Jean Jacques with plankton (excellent), we had tuna done in several different ways all delicious. My favorite was the tartar with avo. This is coupled with personal attentive service. Really worth a try.

I'm not clear on the intentions behind this restaurant. Is it about good quality and glamorous environment? If so, service and food quality is not at level. Had to wait, dishes for clients not at right order, bill containing neither requested nor served orders.

We eat here regularly with family and friends .The setting is perfect right by the beach with views across the bay to Gibraltar and Africa. There is a large first floor balcony area for sitting out at lunchtime or in the evenings from April onwards. The staff are very friendly and always happy to answer questions about the dishes.Wide range of ingenious tapas (and very reasonably priced).Big choice of hot and cold starters .Our favourites is large prawns with 5 varieties of mushrooms .Main course specialities are red tuna and pork and beef steaks ,always beautifully prepared and cooked .Nice draught beer and lot of good wines (good value by the glass).

A good restaurant to have a great meal with sofisticated menu, best view to Getares beach, that you can go after a day on the beach. Nice staff and a equilibrium between price and quality.

Wow. Found this beautiful locals beach outside Algetares. Pity about the oil tankers on the horizon, there to service the Brexit stronghold of Gibraltar, but what can you do? [Sorry a little rant from an Irishman] Anyway, four of us (all adults) had a latish lunch (coming close to 3pm) in this plush tapas restaurant situated on a canopy covered rooftop of a small commercial building on the seafront. The staff were dressed for fine dining service and the slate coloured tables and rattan placemats provided a contemporary contrast with the porcelain white plates. Nothing was too much trouble, even though we got the faint impression they were about to get ready for siesta when we landed at the top of the stairs. Because of Covid 19 we read our menus from our phones. The food? Looked great, was sufficiently unusual and quirky to be authentic (80% sea food) and tasted simply wonderful. The wine I am assured was great too. I was the designated driver so I just got a sip. The coffee was excellent and I 'm fussy in that respect. Not too pricy either. Most pleasant experience all round PS. Loads of free parking. A few local men control the flow but its voluntary. You can try to tip them.
