Oak Street Bistro - Alfred

We went to this restaurant with another couple who had never been before, and we arrived around 5:15 PM on a Saturday. The host, who I believe is also the owner, greeted us and told us there would be a 5 to 10-minute wait. Fortunately, we only waited about 6 minutes.

We've been visiting this place for quite a while now, and it never disappoints. The lovely piano music from the next room, the delightful aromas, the inviting atmosphere, and the wonderful staff all contribute to a fantastic experience. And let's not forget James—thank you for everything!

Excellent service! The restaurant features a surprisingly charming wood-paneled craftsman style. The tables are well-spaced, providing a comfortable atmosphere. The maitre d' and server were very friendly and engaging without being intrusive. Overall, a delightful experience!

We had a wonderful time at the restaurant. We dined in for lunch and found the prices per person to be quite reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20. The food was excellent, earning a top rating of 5, as was the service, which also received a 5. The atmosphere was delightful, rated at 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the onion rings!
