Was skeptical when I saw the sign 'best chicken sandwich in the world ' so bad to try it for myself and yes! It really is the best chicken sandwich in the world! It had something like sultanas in it which sounds weird but really puts a good flavour towards the sandwich.Good service as well and prices aren 't too bad.Definitely one to try and see if you can find another which lives up to it. What Aurelia Kozey doesn't like about Meet Gerard:
Let's start with the delicious burger & fries. Well done, high fives galore... But, not that you asked. Imagine devouring a scrumptious burger (you with me?) and as soon as you lick the plate the sullen waitress languidly removes your plate with complete disinterest for how your meal actually was. Off she skulks into the kitchen. "We really enjoyed that!" but no one hears our cries of appreciation. It's only when... View all feedback.
Such cheap food!! I got a huge pork sandwich for $10!!! And it was very tasty with lovely fresh salad and slow cooked pork, that wasn’t overly fatty. My partner got the burger and fries for $17, which we both preferred to the sandwich (although the sandwich was still great). I got the lemonade which was $7 which was nice, but I’ll probably skip it next time as it was only $3 less than the great sandwiches. The staff were very attentive and the food came out quick. We could hear/smell the burger being cooked as we sat at our table which always makes me more excited for the food.
I have been hearing about this place for the longest time but never got a chance to visit but I finally did recently. Located at the corner of the street, Meet Gerard is clearly a local’s favourite, we had to wait for around 5-10 min for a table but it’s all worth it. The staff were very nice and friendly and it’s a lovely place to sit and hang out with your friends. <br/ <br/ We ordered one of their specials, creamed corn with shallots, chorizo, smokey prapika, soft poached eggs and toasts. This dish was seriously amazing, unlike anything I’ve had before, it also fills your tummy up, hope it will make it to their all day menu. Another dish we ordered was their signature ‘milk honey’ yoghurt panna cotta dish. It was very delicious and definitely a great choice for breakfast/brunch! <br/ <br/ Coffee in general was well made, with roaster from Coffee Alchemy!<br/ <br/ I cannot wait to give it another visit soon!<br/ <br/ Feel free to check out more foodie posts on my instagram @pignic_ !<br/

Finally got the opportunity to come here and try the 'milk and honey ' brekkie... and now I understand all the hype. It 's delicious! Every bite has a bit of nuts,a bit of fruit, a bit of panna cotta. Thought I would be tired of the flavour by the end, but not at all, is just the perfect level of sweetness you need to start the day!<br/ service was super friendly, so I 'll come and visot these guys again soon!<br/
They've got a lot of space inside and out, in a good position for watching the traffic, and good staff. The coffee was good in an interesting way very creamy with a syrupy flavour. The food's not bad and I got a sort of Turkish dish with eggs, sausage, yoghurt and lots of lettuce didn't quite live up to the high price though (the food's expensive but not the coffee).
