Bruce Leaves - Alexandria

Excited I found this hidden gem.  My salad was ready in 5 minutes and tasted super fresh. So happy to finally have a healthy lunch option walking distance to work!!

Its been some time since visiting but I approached Bruce Leaves thinking it may be a hidden gem, weaseled away in the Business Park. Unfortunately I left unimpressed. There weren't a great deal of salads on offer and nothing really stood out to me. There was a very vacant atmosphere here and overall it was quite a strange experience. I once had an expensive but lavish healthy lunch bowl from Bruce and that might be the way to go except last time I passed it, it seemed closed at an odd hour with a sign that said breakfast and lunch coming soon Anyway, I discovered that they deliver burritos in the evening so I tried one and it was terrible. It was smallish and poorly packed and poorly wrapped. It was very heavy on the rice with almost no chicken I saw a few skerricks but only found one proper piece and it had no flavour (like the rest of the burrito). Also very little guacamole for the extra. This was seriously bad yet a rather expensive burrito. I'd rather go to Zambrero than here and that's saying something.
