We had the most wonderful dinner of our stay in Alexandria tonight. The atmosphere was tasteful and comfortable. Everything from the She crab soup through the entrees of perfectly cooked seafood, to the coffee ice cream with the bourbon carmel sauce was delicious. What Joel Blattner doesn't like about The Warehouse:
Mediocre food at best. Fresh seafood did not taste fresh at all. Our crawfish, shrimp, and crab were all chewy and disappointing. Flavors were strange and lacking quintessential New Orleans (or even any area of Louisiana) taste. For the price and location, we expected much more than what was offered. Wouldn 't even give this place a second chance given how many great restaurants can be found on King Street. View all feedback.
Restaurant is very tight and you enjoy your meal very close to others. The food was good if presentation was a bit dated.

Such an amazing experience and outstanding food. My server Tuba was absolutely wonderful! Highly recommended! Took me back to my time in NOLA with the taste of the food.

They made us feel special for our anniversary by sitting us at a nice table by the window and brought us a dessert on the house. The waiter was very friendly and nice. Food was great. Before coming the Warehouse, our day was not good. We had a terrible experience at another restaurant for brunch and a cafe. But, the Warehouse redeemed our day! For that we are truly grateful.
