Drilled to see Michael and Kelsey from the former Michaels Little Italy, take over Magnolia. As expected, our dinner was fabulous. My husband had the lasagna and I had chicken parmesan. Both were excellent! And don't miss the lemon cake for dessert. Great location in the heart of the old town. We are coming back frequently! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Magnolia:
Recently changed over management and is under a new name. A very mediocre experience. Prices are high for food quality and they automatically add a 20% service fee to each invoice (we were only one party of two). I make a habit of ALWAYS, the 20% satisfaction, but I found it automatically included in the bill (for 2 people) to be quite sticky. View all feedback.
Came here for my birthday a while back. My friends suggested this place for the chicken and waffles. Unfortunately, the waffle machine wasn't working. Unlike other places, they know what people came for and made chicken and French Toast. I mean this has to be added to a brunch menu. It was amazing.I now have a reason to return many times for the chicken and waffles.Note: Make a reservation. Though it seems like a speakeasy, people know about this place.
For $30 entrees, the food was extraordinarily meh. The pork grits were flavorful but just swimming in oil. The Cajun mushroom pasta was just not good. Tasted like liquid smoke mixed with cream of mushroom soup. I had a few bites and just couldn't eat any more of it. To add to that, 20% auto gratuity added to a party of two. Just a very disappointing experience. $100 down the drain....

Amazing!!! The service, food and ambiance are wonderful. This has become a favorite restaurant and experience I enjoy sharing with family and friends. Magnolia's on King never disappoints. Love, love, love this restaurant!
