Dos Amigos - Alexandria

I'm not sure how this restaurant earned so many stars. We were seated and didn't receive menus. We ended up ordering before we even had water at the table. We tried the mojitos, but I wouldn't recommend them; they tasted like flavored seltzer water. The "salsa" was simply chopped tomatoes and onions in diluted tomato juice. We also got queso, which just tasted like melted American cheese. For our entree, we ordered fajitas—hard to mess up, right? Unfortunately, we were wrong. Every dish lacked flavor, with the only dominant taste being onion. I can't recommend this place.

Really amazing service, they were so attentive throughout the meal and even afterwards! I accidentally left a personal belonging there last night in the outdoor patio and they held onto it for me overnight and were nice enough to help me before they opened today ???? I will be coming back for the service and the amazing food! I split a grande frozen margarita with a friend and it was strong enough for the two of us. The food we had was really great too. Really homey

Ordered delivery from Uber eats and was severely disappointed. The flavor was not there and the portions were not worth the price. The nachos pictured were 11$ for 6 chips And what seems to be microwaved shredded bagged mexican cheese. I understand the price may be increased from Uber but I wouldn't order them for any price. Would not eat here or order from them again.

Lunch time was wonderful. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I enjoyed sitting by the window, watching people go by. The prices are reasonable for Alexandria, and the portions were generous enough to keep me satisfied for the rest of the day.

We enjoyed this place. The tortilla soup is pretty good. Prices are high with no lunch specials. Good location. Staff is friendly. I would recommend this place.
