Love this place! Great cigar bar. Classy spot with good food. Bartenders are nice, and you can smoke at the bar. The music is usually too loud for the small space but you can also go into the closed off lounge area where it's quieter and there's a TV. View all feedback.
What Lisa Live doesn't like about Bayou Room:
So the bartender on the upstairs cigar bar charged me $27.97 for a margarita. At first, it was showing $23.97 on my statement and when the charge finally was posted, it was $27.97. This person never gave me my receipt to sign, so how in the world the charge goes from $23.97 to $27.97?!?! View all feedback.
DO NOT COME FOR SHOTS!! $100 for 6 pre-mixed green tea shots in plastic cups. Pathetic. Music was good and fun
It has such potential to be a hot spot for dancing. DJ is hot! My sadness is the antiquated idea that people want to party in a windowless basement full of nicotine and cigar smoke like its 1949. Which is probably why there were only 3 people in there smoking their life clock down. Its 2023 every where else.
Disclaimer I have not tried the food or drinks. Have only been here for the night live with friends. The biggest reason we go is to listen to music and dance the night away. From what my friends tell me the drinks are average, nothing special about them. The ambiance great, feels cool walking down into the basement and then see this the crowded small room filled with people dancing. Probably my favorite place to go and dance in the old town area. Nothing like the DC scene but great if you had a late dinner and felt like letting lose without going to far.
Great cheap drinks and open super late on the weekdays! Truly a hidden gemParking: street parking onlyWheelchair accessibility: not accessible
Tasty food with excellent service. Cigar room is great!
