The restaurant was warm and welcoming, we were shown to our table immediately and given menus and a wine list. The server was very attentive and helpful. Our buffet meal was good with lots to chose from, including sushi and steamed dishes. The Wok alternative was very good with hot sauces made hotter on request! Leisurely atmosphere, great for a birthday! We ordered the St Emilion wine which was superb. Will go there... View all feedback.
What Dashawn Von doesn't like about Wok tchen:
View all feedback.
We have eaten here several times, we have also had the take away option. The food is always fresh and tasty. There is something for everyone, from sushi, to prepared dishes to pick your own, which is then cooked in front of you . Will definately go back.
Our hotel's restaurant was closed on the weekend so we used TA to find a sutable alternative. It turned out to be a good choice. The setting is not speical- part of a shopping complex, and its decor is probably not the geatest- seating could be updated. However that being said it is very peopluar with the locals, and families in particular. There was a good provision of ready cooked meals , salads, fish, meats etc. ready to take to the table. Probably the best part was the grillade. Here there was a good choice of meats etc to be grilled, also a whole range of vegetables etc that are perpared and then stir fried in the wok as you wait. There is a fair selection of deserts to choose from, and the most popular are replenshied regularly. Worth noting that their evening session does not start until 7.00 p.m. We enjoyed ourselves, and hopefully others will too.
Forth visit over different stays in the local area. For those struggling to find it on Sat nav, search for le clerk at arconnay. It 's on the same commercial zone. Each visit the food has been the same. Lots to pick from and a 'grillade ' to have your items cooked after you have picked your own raw ingredients. Loads and loads of desserts and ice cream. Kids love this place, as do we. And yes, some of the staff do speak english.
