Steve's Corner - Aldona

We went there after cycling around with a group of six kids in the afternoon. And it proved to be just the place to have a lazy afternoon brunch. They were able to cater to the diverse tastes of the fussy and hungry kids and everything seemed to be made fresh and quick. the ambience is old world and quaint and allows everyone enough space to let their hair down!

Steve's restaurant is a hidden gem located in the remote village of Aldona in the deep north of Goa. Despite its humble appearance, Steve's warmth and delicious food make it a must-visit spot. During our three meals at Steve's, we not only enjoyed dishes like Chicken Cafreal, Pork Vindaloo, and Beef chops, but also made a new friend in Steve who shared some of his life stories with us. We were sad when our time of indulgence came to an end, and we highly recommend paying a visit to Steve's if you find yourself in Aldona.

I was in the area for a wedding and arranged all the food through Steve's Corner. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Additionally, they have a pool table as a bonus!

A comfy spot, a friendly face, great food and a satisfied feeling thereafter. what more could one ask for?Try this place just once and you'll be back again and again!Steve is right in his comfort zone pampering you with his good food and his friendly chit chat. and that's what's lacking now-a-days in many restaurants!Tip: The squid masala fry. it's spicy but great!

Steve's has to be experienced to be believed. Truly. The food is amazing. We loved the selection of wines. Steve was always there taking a personal interest in our choice of food, and giving his suggestions. The food was hot, served with care, and it was delicious - we tried just about every dish and each one was superb....There are some fantastic quotes Steve's put up - adding to the fun ambience.There was always music....and a beautifully relaxed atmosphere.I cannot end this review without mentioning Francis, our waiter. With a sweet smile, he would charmingly serve us our meals. We haunted Steve's for the length of time we were there...and loved every moment we spent. The food, of course, was REAL GOAN!
