Corks Out Alderley Edge

We live locally and have enjoyed a few visits but this visit we were with friends. We had a sharing platter which was delicious however when we asked for a bottle of Pinot Grigio which is a common wine we were told they had none behind the bar but we could purchase it from their own shop which was £24 as a takeout but £34 if we drank it indoors!!!!!! So basically their business model is let’s rip the people off who are choosing to stay and drink indoors and spend more money. The mark up of £10 per bottle is nothing more than a con. Stock the common wines behind the bar and don’t take your customers for a ride or for mugs!!!! If I could give this no stars I would do !!!!!

Great team at Corks Alderley Edge. Ash and Liam make you feel very welcome with great support from Susan and Tom. Always a good, trouble-free evening out. Long may it continue.

Visited on 11th February. Service was good, prices ok for area but the experience was ruined by a young couple on the adjacent table openly vaping. As visitors to the village we shouldn 't have to confront 'regulars ' on something so blatantly wrong. Staff need to be more vigilant.

I visited the Corksout over a weekend when busy. I found the staff very hospitable and the service to be attentive. I came as a party of 4 and ordered the cheese and meat platter. This was well presented and well portioned. We all had an enjoyable evening and have returned on several occasions since. I'd highly recommend a drink and snack in there ;
