I think he's exaggerating but he's not too far from the truth. The food was spectacular. The service makes you feel at home from the start. Las Tejas is a local eatery located away from any major street. Yet, it was full at lunchtime on a Tuesday. That's a good indication of the quality of the food. Decor is bland but who cares. Portions are generous and prices will not dent your wallet. Las Tejas is a keeper.
