Full house on a holiday and they still got us a table. Friendly staff tended to our needs. The cook came out frequently to see if everything was ok. They offered us a free digestive on the house after the meal. View all feedback.
We were going to Lisbon, and we stop in Alcacer do Sal for lunch and was worth it. Regional food is excellent and simple and excellent people wait on us. Kiss from Gonçalo to the lady, very friendly.
Very humble and kind people, always asking if we ok with the food and if we need something, the food was delicious, very quiet place and comfortable. 10/10
We stopped in Alcacer for one night out of season whilst journeying up to Lisbon from the Algarve. Sao Pedros was very welcoming, they explained the menu as best they could given their limited English and our very limited Portuguese. We ended up having an excellent meal. Flavoursome and traditional; no burgers or 'fast food '! We had bread to start, 3 main meals, 3 desserts and 3 beers. The whole bill came to 37 Euros. Brilliant value. We wish they were always 'just around the corner '!
Found this place when travelling home from Algarve. It's a very clean and familiar business. the staff is very nice. I had the fried cuttlefish and it was very very good garnished with home fries, loved it. I'm sure I'll stop there more often when travelling south. Don't expect a huge restaurant. The place is small but cosy. It also has a very nice terrace. It has dish of the day and the prices are just fine and fair. Many thanks to our hosts.
