Visited on a Thursday night which had steak and a beer as it's special that night. It was a freezing cold night outside...and even though it was quite open and pretty big inside here it was wonderfully warm inside with even an open fire on...More

Service wasn't too bad, food was horrid, dry chicken from a packet, parmi was just a parmi, pork belly tough and pale soggy skin, desserts online and on their menu don't exist, not impressed, will not be back

Visited the Zed Bar twice on a recent visit to Albury, both times of an evening: the first for a meal and the second time just for some imbibing (because had enjoyed first visit). Dinner menu was fairly standard pub-grub, steaks, burgers, pork belly, parmas, etc, which they bring to your table. No buzzer and collect from bar, which makes for a nice change. Very decent sized meal and my chicken schnitzel reasonable value for $21. Didn't seem to be much for vegetarians. The place is attractively decorated and it is easy to find a table or bench where you're able to chat. Reasonable choice of ales, though what appealed most of all was the very helpful bar staff.

Trendy and bustling, especially on weekends and during happy hour. The food can be unpredictable; I've enjoyed some excellent pub fare here, but my next visit didn’t quite match that experience.

The experience varies based on the day. I've dined here about 4-5 times, and each visit has seen different levels of quality and service. The drinks are particularly pricey, especially the bottled pre-mixed options...
