I travel to Albury about 6 times a year on business and have been dining at Brady's for 4 years. Well renovated, great menu, with a good wine selection and fast service. Cathy the staff member IC the dining room is a star. Attentive and helpful. They are one of the extremely few places that can cook a blue steak correctly. Particularly enjoyable in summer with the outdoor area. Very reasonably priced. Steak and 2 gla... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Brady's Railway Hotel:
Ordered entree and main it all came out tog tea was cold and looked horrid Le had bushmans snitzel burnt small cold sick the next day manager didn't seem concerned with our complaint menu has gone downhill and we dinned here every week won't be back View all feedback.
Most of the lasangne I had was so overcooked and hard on the bottom I couldn't even cut it, could only eat a little I could scrape off the top. The French fries were lukewarm, so not a pleasant meal at all.
Disappointing experience. Table was booked, arrived to empty cups everywhere. Tried ignoring that. Then the server would miss 2 meals on 2 orders made by the table. Instead of telling us unavailable and ask what we would order instead. The garlic prawns for the price was disgusting. A small rice and few prawns with salad and chips taking over the plate. I ordered that knowing it shouldn 't come with chips. No mention of chips or salad on the menu, and to charge that price for less then half the palate being what the menu clearly states prawns and rice . Never had that in any pub. If you ran out say so and charge less.
We’ve generally liked Brady’s but the last visit has left us scarred. A simple request to ask for a sauce swap was snapped at and butted into the questions I was asking the cashier taking the order. I didn’t get the chance to explain the lactose intolerance of my partner, Must have been the same staff member that the previous review had experienced. Can’t see us going back to a bad customer experience.
If you plan on dining at this restaurant, be sure to place your order before 8:30pm. The chef can be quite strict and may not accept your order if you are even a minute late, regardless of whether the person before you had their order taken. Customer service is important, so it's best not to turn away any customers.
Been twice since the renovations, once for mid-week work lunch and once for dinner. Very impressed with the speed with which we received our meals both times as well as the the quality, flavour and friendly, efficient staff. $15 lunch menu does not scrimp on size or quality of meals, our table of four all had something different which gave the others food-envy! Will return and recommend to those wanting a good, casual pub meal in clean environment with a good vibe. Unexpected bonus was a fantastic, live singer on a Saturday night.
