The Clubhouse Bar & Bistro

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with a menu similar to pub grub but with a special touch. The garlic bread options are delicious, and the main courses are generous and satisfying. The atmosphere is lovely, with comfortable seating, and even when the restaurant filled up, we could still enjoy conversation without shouting. I highly recommend making a reservation before visiting.

First of all, this venue is kid-friendly, with a kids' room for playing and hanging out while adults enjoy some private time. The kids' room monitor was really helpful and provided us with some entertainment watching the kids have fun. The food portions were large and delicious, with reasonable prices and excellent coffee. There were many different varieties of wine and beer available at the bar. The only drawback was that the kids' menu had small portions, which may be suitable for children aged 5 and under. However, our boys, aged 10-11, were still hungry after a long day of games, so we had to order main courses for them. Overall, it's a great place for hosting large parties. It may not be ideal for a quiet night out, as it can get noisy with speakers and kids running around. However, it was our kids causing the noise last Saturday, so we didn't mind too much, even though it made it difficult to hear each other talking.

It appeared that everyone in the restaurant was local except for us, but it was a good decision to trust the locals because the food was excellent and very reasonably priced.

The chicken schnitzel was well proportioned, and juicy. The sauce was delicious and rich, the cheese looked well grilled. The children's meal was amazing as well, the pasta thick and easy for my 2 year old to eat and enjoy. She loved the sauce and ate almost the whole plate. My meal was the steak sandwich. It was juicy and well made, the onions were the best part. I don't really like cheese and the cheese was thick and tasty. The inside of the bistro was beautiful, but the kids section was hidden and I didn't know it was there. The outside made the bistro looked closed and being renovated, so we were unsure it was open. The service was amazing, our server was kind, open and inviting. He was so helpful.
