Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the cutest kid, and when I jokingly asked if he was the one cooking, he cheerfully replied, “No, but my dad is!” As I was leaving, I asked him to tell his dad that the food was excellent, and to my surprise, his dad actually ran after me to thank me for the compliment. There were nine of us at the table, and everyone enjoyed their meals. Whatever you do, don’t skip dessert!
