Always a great place for a drink and something to eat! You make a great burger! The frieous breads, the rhinestones and the oysters are also amazing! Wide selection of local brews, wines and spirits. The service is also really great. Krystal, Marie and the entire saloon staff will definitely take care of you. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sandia Saloon:
Updating this review to reflect recent visits: I wish I could keep this review at 5 stars, but for the last 6 months or so, there have been increasing problems. Food orders are taking longer and longer to come out, and orders are often wrong. Beer list has become less drinkable, with an emphasis on trendy (read: primarily sours and imperials). Staff seems less happy to be there. All adds up to be a way less positive... View all feedback.
This is essentially a spot to grab a beer or two—and maybe even a few more—before heading over to spend your entire paycheck at Whole Foods. The staff behind the bar are actually employees from different sections of the market, so some of them may not be as experienced with pouring beers or mixing drinks as you might find in other bars or breweries.
This is always a fantastic spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat! Their burgers are excellent, and the fry breads, street tacos, and oysters are also outstanding! They offer a great variety of local beers, wines, and spirits. The service is top-notch as well. Krystal, Marie, and the whole Saloon team will ensure you are well taken care of.
I enjoyed some delicious chicken wings during my visit, and there were plenty that came with my single order. One of the bartenders was truly exceptional—if only I could remember her name, as she really deserves recognition. She was very knowledgeable about beers and very friendly. It was great to see her interacting with the regulars and having engaging conversations.
Good selection of local and beers on tap. Good eating for a tap room and conveniently located at whole foods in case you want to pick up asparagus water.
This place is the best! Inside Whole Foods. Fridays they have the best Fish and Chips ever! And such a great selection of beers on tap!
