The meat itself lacked flavor—this is where Texas BBQ shines, as the meat usually undergoes several steps of flavoring. However, my partner found the BBQ sauce to be very good, with a nice smoky flavor; I agreed that their sauce was excellent. He enjoyed his sandwich overall, and in the end, he set aside his expectations and found satisfaction in his meal. We settled on a rating of 3.5 stars. Unfortunately, we couldn’t submit that, so we had to give it 3 stars instead. The service was lacking, as our waitress seemed overwhelmed, juggling too many tasks. The ambiance was also uninviting—it felt old and tired, and there were no windows to let in natural light. Overall, the experience was just okay. Would we come back? Probably not, but it seems like the locals support the place. To summarize what we liked: the generous portion of meat on both sandwiches and the excellent BBQ sauce.
