Oak Tree Cafe - Albuquerque

The food was incredible and bursting with flavor. The service was fast, we were in and out in no time. Everyone at the restaurant was extremely friendly and welcoming, with many smiling faces. We even had a chance to chat with the owner, who was very kind. This is a fantastic place to eat, it gives you a real sense of home!

We didn't have the opportunity to eat at this restaurant. When we walked in, my husband's leg hit the long blue bench near the entrance. He ended up with a scrape and bruise on his shin as he almost fell. We had to leave because he was in too much pain. The placement of the bench was not ideal.

The food was good, but the service was slow. I went for lunch and had to wait in a long line to order. I was disappointed with the slow service since they are only open for lunch. Burgers don't come with a side, only sandwiches, which was strange to me. The burgers are only available in 1/2 lb size, which is too much for a lunch portion. I enjoyed the green chile cheese fries, but there may only be enough for one or two servings. The portion size of the fries with my burger was smaller than expected. The sandwich and macaroni salad were good, but nothing outstanding. The green chile in the sandwich and fries lacked flavor. I might give this place another try for different menu items, but I would come on the weekend when I have more time to wait. It would be nice if they had more local beer options and were open for dinner.

We did take-out for an office lunch meeting. There was 5 of us, and our boss likes to complicate his order, but they nailed it and got everything correct! Nothing missing, and extra specifications were all met. The food was okay, just not what I had hoped for. I got the Taos with O rings and thought it was meh. I didn't get anything special from it, and the flavor/seasoning just lacked somewhat. I wasn't a big fan of the roast beef that way, but I was also confused(my fault) at what I ordered. The rings were good, and would've been great if they were still hot. That's not their fault either as it was a togo meal, but I would definitely re-order them! I am going to come back and give it another chance for a dine-in visit, but I will definitely find another menu item to try!

The place had a nice vibe to it. I ordered the Gucci sandwich from the menu but unfortunately there wasn't much taste or flavor to it. I'll try this place again because they had a bunch of different sandwiches and burgers.
