I discovered this Japanese restaurant on Yelp while driving a long distance with my kids near Route 40. I placed an online order at 2:00 PM, but when I arrived around 3:10 PM, there was an issue with our order, and it had been canceled. We came in for lunch today and saw some people leaving after waiting about 5-10 minutes without ordering their food, so I thought I should leave some tips here. Waiter/waitress don’t take your order at the table. Diners order their food using QR code on the table. If you don’t have a smartphone or don’t know how to order, you can ask and they will be happy to help you. Staff are very friendly and food is excellent. They have two menus: curry, donnuri, and cold noodles for lunch and ramen for dinner. The place is small and always packed, not ideal for big group.
I cannot put into words what a staple this place is in the community. I love them. Every time I go, it be to go or to dine in. I truly have never had a bad experience or dish. I love them....
Food is good, however the food selection is very limited and lots of items are sold out most of the time. I miss their old menu and setup. Aaa
This place was highly recommended to us by multiple people but I can only review this place for dinner. We got there promptly at 530 on a Friday and we were able to get a seat. Looks like the seating is pretty limited tho if you are party bigger than 2. The service was great and the ramen was solid. The broth had a nice creamy and tasteful flavor but was a bit oily. Loved how they gave a whole egg and 2 pieces of charsu in the dish. Overall a solid place if you are looking for a good bowl of ramen.
We went to dinner since they have a different set of menu. The ramen list is limited but the ramens are really good and very flavorful. It's a great portion for the price. Both of the ramens me and my husband had had some pork cutlet and it was pretty big, you also get a whole egg which is pretty rare since most places only gives you half an egg. I got the tonkatsu and I recommend it to people who prefer a thicker savory broth and my husband shoyu ramen and it's good for people that like thin delicate broth and it's also very oniony. I like that they have different menus for lunch and dinner and you get to try a different variety for each. Also, there was a good amount of line when we came at 5:30 so make sure to come early to get seated.
