Grassburger (abq Nw) - Albuquerque

It is the perfect place to eat and enjoy some relaxing time watching people.I had a regular grass-burger, regular fries, and ice tea. As I looked around, I noticed that there was NO HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP in any of the drinks. I am so happy to see that a nice burger restaurant is offering truly healthy food for a change. My diet does not include grains, gluten, and dairy. Beef that is raised on grain/glutens makes me very sick. I'm not the only one that figured that out. This is a wonderful resource for me. And... my service dog loved the fries, too. He's also gluten-free!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free bun available.

Typically I give this location and the food a 5Star. Today I was rather disappointed. I'm sick with the flu, ugly sick and all I was craving since 8am is a grassburger. Of course I got the chile burger for the added vitamin C.2 reasons for my disappointment.1. I was unable to order LTOP OS. So of course it was soggy and we dont live more than 6-7 minutes away.2nd is the picture. It looked slapped together in an ugly way.It's Always better to eat in rather than take it to go, but we've taken togo many times over the last 2 years and never had it looking quite like this.

We placed our order online, and by the time we arrived, our food was ready. However, our order was not entirely accurate, which I anticipated. Looking at the receipt on my phone, I could see how it might confuse anyone, and I completely understood their cautious approach to the "no onions, substituting sautéed onions" instructions. Additionally, the Swiss cheese I had requested for my veggie burger was missing. I went back inside, and a very kind staff member graciously offered to remake my sandwich. Meanwhile, I enjoyed one of their excellent vegan chocolate milkshakes, which was perfectly made the first time. My cousin decided to try one as well, and as an apology for the mix-up with our order, they generously gave her milkshake complimentary. We certainly didn't expect that! Despite the wait for my black bean burger to be remade, the food was fantastic. They told me to keep the incorrectly made bean burger as well. A week later, I heated it up in the toaster oven, added some cheese, avocado, and spinach, and it was still delicious! Just a week after our first visit, I was already looking forward to returning on my next trip to New Mexico. Now, not only will I go back, but I'll also bring friends along and felt compelled to write this glowing review. The chef who had mistakenly made my first veggie burger even personally handed over the new one to my cousin and apologized for the earlier mix-up. Their customer service is truly outstanding, and I hope their employees are well-compensated because they definitely deserve it.
