**Dining Experience at Forque: A Mixed Bag**
Forque offers an enticing atmosphere and a diverse menu but delivers a mixed dining experience. While some guests praised standout dishes such as prime rib and unique breakfast options, others faced disappointing meals with tough meat and lackluster flavors. Service quality varied, with some friendly staff making memorable impressions, while others appeared indifferent or overwhelmed during busy times. The restaurant's location within a hotel may lead to higher prices, which some patrons felt were not justified. Overall, Forque shows promise, yet it may best suit those looking for a late-night snack rather than a special occasion.

We took some friends out for an evening at Forque after checking out the menu on Open Table, but we were disappointed to find that the menu at the restaurant was different and had a much more limited selection. The hostess was indifferent and almost rude when she seated us. The only positive aspect of our experience was our waiter, Benjamin. He was knowledgeable about the menu (despite its limited offerings) and the wine selections as well. After having drinks and spending $45, we decided to move on to another restaurant for dinner.
We were searching for a peaceful spot for a romantic dinner after Valentine's Day before heading to a show, and we stumbled upon Forque. We were truly impressed by the ambiance and the food.
Food was excellent but the service was eh. Server was either too busy with too many tables or the kitchen was very slow. A four course valentines dinner shouldn 't last three hours, especially when the place wasn 't at capacity. We had long intervals between courses which I know is to be expected with fine dining but 45 minutes between second and third was too much. We also were brought other peoples meals twice. They were sat down in front of us and left before we could even get an excuse me, what is this ? My dessert had melted by the time my coffee had arrived, I found that very annoying.

I had a pleasant experience here at Forque. My chalupa was delicious. Service was good. No complaints.
The Breakfast Chalupas, featuring poached eggs, spinach, chorizo, green chili hollandaise, hash browns, and pico de gallo, are absolutely delicious. The lead cooks, Virginia and Terrence, truly excel in their craft, cooking with incredible passion. My server, Natalie, was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant! #HyattRegencyAlbuquerque #VirginiaIsAmazing #TerrenceIsAwesome #NatalieIsGreat #ForqueKitchen.
This restaurant is quite busy, serving simple but delicious breakfasts with extremely fresh fruit. However, I wouldn't recommend going for dinner. You might end up waiting over an hour for a table, and the food isn't impressive. My ribeye steak was just average, and the $8 shrimp I ordered had no flavor. On a positive note, the wine was good.
The food was enjoyable, though somewhat lacking in flavor. The hostess and servers were very friendly and helpful. They were able to answer all my questions about the menu and were accommodating with special requests. The prices felt a bit steep for what I received, but they were in line with what I anticipated from a restaurant located within a hotel.

Why do I have to choose a star rating? This review is a bit of a mixed bag. It's a restaurant located within a hotel. First off, the huevos rancheros are absolutely fantastic—definitely the best I've ever had. Just a heads up, they're quite large, so it's a good idea to share them. And...
The food was decent, but... the pesto pasta was meant to be baked, and when it arrived, it wasn't even crispy. The mozzarella was barely melted. My daughter ordered the soup...
