Food was goodish. Chicken potstickers were good. Eggroll was way to greasy and old oil. Squid salted and peppered was really good. Chicken chow mein was mediocre. Service was fast and friendly. This place gets alot of take out orders. If I was local would love to try more on the menu. View all feedback.
What Fleta Rice doesn't like about Fai Wong:
I ate here for lunch the food was greasy unflavored. I had chicken lomein that tasted like grease. I was served a generous portion. The egg roll tasted like store bought frozen. The ambience appeared mortuary-like as their big windows were covered, letting in some natural light. I liked that the Coke was served in a can. It was hard to understand the server as she mumbled. She smiled when she was given a tip. I won't... View all feedback.
This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the Albuquerque area. While the atmosphere is a bit lacking in this small strip mall eatery, the food is absolutely fantastic, and the family that runs the restaurant is both delightful and efficient! We've recommended this spot to many friends, and they all share our enthusiasm, agreeing with our five-star ratings.
The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is that the lo mein was delicious. I ordered General Tso's chicken, but it was mostly batter with hardly any chicken. I was so frustrated when I got home!
I’m sorry, Fai Wong, but despite giving your restaurant multiple chances, I have been disappointed each time. The food lacks flavor, and every dish I've tried over the past couple of years has looked nearly identical. There's an abundance of vegetables, but very little meat. If you're just looking for egg rolls and fried rice, you might be satisfied. Just a heads up: if you decide to dine in, be prepared to wait about an hour for your food, even if you order ahead.
Best chinese in Albuquerque and the staff is always amazing
Ordered Mongolian beef, flavor was there, however it was seriously disappointing to pay $54 for very little beef and an overwhelming amount of onions and mushrooms.
