zest is not all veg, but their menu is usually vegetarian with some vegan options and the opportunity to make any dish vegan (after their vegan chef). eating is decent and healthy. it is not the most tasty eating, but it is not bad either. the most tasty thing we had was the broth. that was gross. we were in the opposite and had no internet, and zest was the only place we knew vegan options had, so we gave it a try.... There are not many vegan options so that the cherry curry is a must! have tofu or try. simply beautiful and a beautiful part. the quinoa court is also good, but could use a dressing or vinaiigrette, as the quinoa alone was a little boring, but overall a really nice dish. they need to expand their vegan menu and hours! that was the most disappointing part. they must learn more about the benefits of plant-based nutrition, not only for the environment, but also for human health. understand that, and all the harmful substances in the fish and meat they serve, they would certainly be very happy to replace some of these meat dishes with vegetable options! the resort with which they are connected should check to send their cook to the same vegan cooking school daterra sends their chefs.
There are not a lot of vegan options so the chickpea curry is a MUST!!! Have it with either tofu or tempe. Just beautiful and a nice sized portion. The quinoa dish is also good, but could use a dressing or vinaigrette as the quinoa alone was a little boring, but overall a really nice dish. They REALLY need to expand their vegan menu and hours! That was the most disappointing part. They need to educate themselves more about the benefits of a plant based diet not just for the environment, but for human health as well. Understanding that, and all the pollutants in the fish and meat they do serve, they would surely feel very happy to replace some of those meat dishes with plant based options! The resort they are associated with should consider sending their chef to the same vegan cooking school daTerra sends their chefs to.
Zest is not all veg, but their menu is mostly vegetarian with some vegan options and the option to make any dish vegan (according to their vegan chef). The food is decent and somewhat healthy. It's not the tastiest food, but it's not bad, either. The tastiest thing we had that was different was the carob bread. That was scrumptious. We were in the area and didn't have internet, and Zest was the only place we knew of that had vegan options, so we gave it a try. The experience was good, but it is overpriced because it's part of a luxury resort.
