Pasta with seafood and additional parmesan cheese is very tasty. Friendly waiters and excellent work of the cooks.

He assured my husb... read more Stopped at the Panacee for a drink on the way to the beach and after chatting to Enrique, were persuaded to return later for an evening meal. He assured my husband that he would cook him a steak that would be tender and have no fat on it. My husband had a bad steak elsewhere previously and was very dubious about Portuguese meat. Enrique also recommended the fresh fish for myself. Well! He was as good as his word! We had a delicious meal (see photo's) and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant is in a lovely location, a stones throw from the beach and is always buzzing with people. A cold drink and yummy dessert finished the evening. We discovered the Panacee on the last day of our holiday unfortunately, but highly recommend a visit. The restaurant in inside with pretty tables, but the outside is the favorite, with seating on different levels. Both Enrique and George were very entertaining and super efficient. We had a lovely last supper with them.

Two waiters that work their were real characters, made everyone laugh. We had to sit inside one evening with it raining, it was cosy and comfortable. The restaurant is only small, so I would recommend reserving a table.

We stayed at the Monica Isabella, and this little restaurant was a real find. We ate there twice, and cannot fault the food the service or the price. On the first visit we had the prawn and beef skewer, so tasty and freshly cooked. Second night we had a Portuguese steak and a peri peri chicken after grilled prawn starter. So very tasty, staff are friendly and charming. But meals we had starters and beer and wine and both came in under £60.
