Despite coming to Guia for many years we have not eaten here before. Very surprised at how good it was. Very traditional Portuguese, menu small but what they do they do very well. Service good, prices cheap and the restaurant was very clean. First class, would rate it quite highly. View all feedback.

We visit this restaurant every year and the quality, the taste, the freshness has been kept unchanged. The tomato salad is a must and being a typical “algarvian ” dish it is served to you as well. The fried potatoes are amazing and even knowing you do not want them, you will end up eating them : The chicken is very small (which, by the way, is expected but extremely tender,tasty and juicy. You can also spice it up with their own spicy sauce.

Went here as recommended to us, the food was average the service was poor and very unfriendly. Although we asked for four chicken piri piri's we were charged for five portions, we asked why and the waiter said you pay for five as that is what we gave you, no explanation as to why, we left with a feeling we had been duped.
He typical dish of Guia, Albufeira, is franguinho da guia , very small chicken grilled, served with fried potatos and tomato salad with oregans. If you want with piri-piri spice you must say com with . If you eant without piri-pire you must say sem without . In this restaurant you get the perfect franguinho da guia , but the salad will be ever better in summer.
Traditional Portuguese restaurant with barbecue chicken to die for .hand made chips and an excellent tomato salad . The service is attentive and the prices are very reasonable.The decor is basic but do not let this put you of the food is makes up for it

What a little gem. Frango da Guia is the best, and this little restaurant made it! Excellent chicken, fast and friendly service, price is unbelievable! Economical and tastiest chicken do Algarve. We had lunch for two and paid 21 euros, with drinks. Located right off Guia roundabout. Parking little bit further, on the street. Not to be missed, when visited Algarve!
First Frango a Guia and it was delicious. A small restaurant atmosphere with wonderful staff. Try the house dessert too … amazing.
Best frango da Guia I’ve ever had. The restaurant is exactly in the style you should embrace when eating this dish.
