My wife and I have visited Albufeira on about 20 occasions, and have long had the ritual of having our first lunch and final evening meal at the Doce Jardim. It never disappoints. The food is very tasty and the staff are great, in particular Luis and Manuel, who have worked there for a very long time. Luis is a character, and can always be relied upon to make your visit a fun one.
Nice breakfast, omelette a bit tasteless and came with chips which is odd for breakfast, but others in the group had full English and smoothie bowl which was very good. Coffee very good and staff attentive and friendly Prices not bad , Nice central location Would recommend as has something for everyone
When we went there first day was perfect starting from service and food ,was huge portion of octopus so we decide to come back but second day for same order portion was noticeable smaller different staff also met us there ,but anyway not bad place
The food was delicious. We didn’t expect much from the restaurant in the touristic place during non-high season but to our surprise it was one of the best meals in Algarve so far. The steak was perfectly cooked and so was the octopus. The serving of the octopus dish was spectacular. We set outside but it’s appeared that the place is very nice inside too. Nice and Clean toilet. I give this place 5 stars in my list
We’re in Albufeira in winter, it’s raining and almost everything is closed! We stopped here for a drink and noticed gluten free pizzas on the menu. My husband is usually very particular about eating out but at this point it’s bucketing with rain and the kids are a bit miserable so he decides to risk it. He ordered a gluten free Margherita pizza and said it was very tasty. A few hours later there’s no adverse reaction so all is well. The waiter was very kind and kept joking with the kids to try to cheer them up.
