We had 17 people for a birthday party. Staff were helpful, food was good. Only hiccough was the booking made a month in advance via Messenger wasn’t in the diary, luckily we checked again a few days beforehand. Service was great. No vegan food for 3 vegans but chef made a vegetable pasta on request. Wonderful view as the sun set over the sea. Happy to recommend

Can’t argue with the beach front location. The food however was pricey for what we got. It felt like a place better suited to beach side lunches and drinks rather than a nice evening meal which is what we went for. The place was almost empty too and we waited about 20 minutes for our bill

Food was ok, service at bar excellent. For some reason, one older man kept interfering with our kid, being quite inconveniente and even causing some problems. Was surprisingly rude, witch eventually led to some damage control on our part to explain what happened to our child. Was not accustomed to this level of privacy invasion on a public restaurant. Otherwise, a good experience.

We went for lunch here. The staff were lovely and friendly, restaurant was nicely laid out and we had a table by the window inside. Unfortunately, I had the grilled octopus and I had to leave a lot of it as it was either too tough or bits that I usually would not come across (I'm happy with tentacles and everything but unsure about bits inside of the squid). It may be that the preparation is different in portugal, and if this is the case then my apologies, but the quill did not appear to have been removed from the inside with the entrails nor did the membrane on the outside, which made it tough. When I was able to pull off the membrane those parts were nicely cooked. On the upside, my husband had the tuna and said it was tasty.

Went for a family diner. Service was very slow at first, but overall nice. The quality of the food another story. Grilled calanares poor both in taste and structure, 3 smallish calamares 17 euros with no side dish. We asked for grilled sea bream (dourada) for 2. The fish costed 60 euros, and from the taste it did not seem like open sea! The fish came with some boiled potatoes and a small bowl of tomato salad. When we checked the bill we realized they charged 5 euros for the tomato salad we did not ordered and it was the minimum they coul provide as a side dish for 2. We complained and they agreed imediately to take it off. Overall not a good experience and although we come here regularly we will not return. It is a pitty. Nice setting but the rest very unconvincing
