The elderly owner is very proud of the food that they serve and, on his advice, we took a three course menu, choosing two starters of charcuterie Corse and beignets brocciu. The charcuterie consisted of peppery salami, dried and cured hams, the owner again proudly pointing out that one was his own and insisting we eat the fat - which was delicious! Our main courses were veal in a rich sauce flavoured with maquis herbs and ravioli brocciu with mint - both excellent. Dessert was a tartes pommes maison. Way off the beaten track, with locals dropping in for a chat and a drink and a bite to eat, this felt like the true Corsica and we hesitated before letting others in on its excellence but it so deserves to be better known.

Tout est maison et d'ailleurs on se sent comme à la maison à tel point que même repus après un bon dîner, nous sommes restés à discuter un bon moment !!
