I can now see why it holds that title.... read more After being recommended by my partner, I tried out this place that is supposedly the best Indian restaurant in Australia. I can now see why it holds that title. Our takeaway dinner was exceptional, especially the butter chicken and dal bukhara. The gravies were bursting with flavor, and we couldn't resist finishing every last bite. I can't wait for them to reopen post-lockdown so I can dine-in and experience their food in person. Highly recommended!

The service is absolutely top tier and I highly recommend dining on the mezzanine level if available, for a great view of the kitchen. While the curries are excellent, creamy and have great depth of flavour, it's the entrees that I'm always most impressed by. The Sikandari raan is phenomenal, so tender and great, spicy flavour. Also a huge fan of the Dirty Samosa and the presentation is stunning. Definitely a step up for Indian cuisine in Melbourne and a great option for special occasions.
