Cantina Vino Libero - ALBENGA

The culinary highlight of our last holiday. What a pleasant surprise! The service was on point and focused on our request, with a wonderful eye for detail without losing a personal touch. The food was of exceptional quality and very clearly prepared with a love for good and beautiful ingredients and a passion for cooking. The whole place radiated a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, starting with the music: old classic jazz. Cleanliness was also excellent. A good clean toilet (for northern Europeans and other tall people... watch your head on entrance and exit is for my wife and me, the final proof of excellence. This lovely cantina passed! When you come to Albenga and you want to have lunch or dinner, I recommend the Vino Libero with all my heart... and mind. Oh, and I have no financial intetest, I payed the bill in full and, of course, I left a tip, Mancha.

The restaurant is located in the historic center of Albenga. I recommend booking because there are only 25 seats. The place is beautiful, small and rustic. The menu is varied and we were immediately inspired by a lot of the dishes. You can just have an aperitif with a glass of wine and a small cutting board or dinner. We had an appetizer (brandacujun), a first course (taglioni with cocoa with wild boar ragù and hazelnuts), a second course (octopus with artichokes) and two desserts (chocolate cake and freshly made tiramisu). All accompanied by two glasses of wine and water. 64 euros. All dishes were really good. We will return to try other dishes. Friendly and smiling staff.

The restaurant is located in the picturesque historic center of Albenga, among the shaded and cool alleys even in summer. The furnishings are refined and made up of pieces with different styles but tastefully combined. Fresh and delicious dishes, freshly prepared with care; Not excessive portions, perfect for enjoying multiple courses. Wide choice of wines also by the glass.

Excellent wine bar restaurant in the historic center of Albenga. Very good dishes with generous portions and excellent wine list. Very friendly and helpful staff, good value for money. I will definitely be back!
