Such a great old pub. Done up beautifully from the beer garden to a table by the fire. The menu was broad I can highly recommend the beef & guiness pie (we went back twice & I ordered both times!) great service & good value for money. View all feedback.
What Efrain Mills doesn't like about Earl of Spencer:
Four of us dropped in for lunch after visiting the Anzac Centre. We were surprised to see the restaurant quite empty for a Saturday lunchtime. Our waitress was cheerful and took our orders quickly. When the food arrived we could see why the place wasn't as busy as it used to be. It was very average to say the least. If i could rate this a 0, I would. I am so beyond frustrated with and disappointed in this restaurant.
What a fantastic hidden gem this is! We took our family here for an early dinner tonight and it did not disappoint. The meal size was exceptional and the taste just as good. I was able to breastfeed and the staff made sure I was comfortable and still served. We had 6 family members around the table and not one meal was disappointing. Live music and a wonderful Sunday night atmosphere. We will be back!
Great old pub. Fantastic service. Reasonable menu. Chef needs to taste food now and then as I found the pumpkin soup and pork ribs quite tasteless.
