The most authentic and tasty in the Albany Creek area. They apologised that it took a few minutes longer because they always make there Larb Gai fresh. It tasted like it too. Good food from nice people. View all feedback.
What Tracey Sheehan doesn't like about ALBANY CREEK Thai Restaurant:
I had Takeaway from here in Sept which was lovely. Mussaman beef and a chicken cashew type stirfry. Visited on the weekend and was so suprised that the food was unexpectedly bland. it just lacked those delicious Thai flavours in the all main dishes and the entrees...fish cakes were nice with the sauce and service was also good. We have never been disappointed with our choice of great food when we have ordered take away from here.
Absolutely disgusting! Had takeaway as a treat to thank my parents for helping me out but hadn't realised my favourite Thai restaurant had changed hands and what a let down! Food was inedible! Fried rice was so fluffy and flavourless, pad Thai much the same except for taste of sugar, vegetable curry was mostly soupy sauce and what appeared to be packet frozen veg and the curries lacked much meat at all! Will never go back again!
New owners...I got a take away stir fry from here and it was completely flavourless and inedible. Not Thai in the slightest. The meat tasted like it had been blanched - no stir fry flavour - and the rice wasn't jasmine, just long grain. I've never had celery in my Thai stir fry! It was more along the lines of flavourless, Aussie Chinese food. I threw it in the bin and will never return.
Still reasonably good food. Nice small dining room however not as good as it used to be a while ago.
I wouldn't rush to go back but not too bad. Just an average Thai meal in my opinion. A good take out option. Restaurant can be updated a bit, not my ultimate dine in spot
