The Flint - Albany

Friendly staff and owner. Unique atmosphere. Our server Jaquarius was very good. He kept our drinks full and was very attentive. This was our first time, so we only had 3 different plates of food.The catfish dinner, and the shrimp appetizer was good, but not really worth the price you pay. The flint burger and the steak style fry's was really good. The side salad was good, but the house vinaigrette dressing had too much vinegar in it. Overall it was a good experience, but a bit too expensive for the quality and quantity of food. The presentation of the food on the plates was done well.Be prepared to spend a lot of money.

Wonderful atmosphere, amazing menu options you won't get in smaller chain restaurants. The owner is a delight to talk with. The chef is a gem! Will definitely be back! Loved it!

I was so excited to try the flint and be so disappointed. the drinks were amazing! but don't eat so much. my appetizer was so cold. my main dish was cold too. I don't say I'll never go back, but there were only a few things that were going to be not approving. our eating literally sat on this stage for over 5 minutes before it went out. we're at 7. our waiter has not taken over our order until 9. we didn't get our food until 10.we felt rushed when it wasn't our fault that we ordered so late. I might try it again for a date night, but not with a bigger amount.
