The Copper Crow - Albany

What a fantastic place for a birthday dinner with eight people! The atmosphere was lovely, and the interior was pleasantly quiet.

We were thrilled to discover this restaurant and intend to come back. The menu is intriguing, and the service was excellent.

My previous visit to the Copper Crow was a five-star experience! Unfortunately, our trip on Sunday, December 16, was disappointing compared to that first time. The restaurant was quite quiet that afternoon, yet the staff seemed sluggish in attending to our table. Several of our dishes were overcooked, including burnt toast on a steak and cheese sandwich and nearly burned potato fries. Additionally, the amount of steak in the sandwich felt quite insufficient for the price. My dining companion ordered a double Bloody Mary, but it was clearly just a single shot. Despite this, we plan to return because our initial experience was so fantastic, and I’m willing to believe that the Copper Crow simply had an off day on Sunday.

From the moment I entered the Copper Crow I was swept away by the atmosphere they have created with decor and lighting; the ambiance is soothing to the senses. As for what they serve, I found their menu inspiring! Clearly, the Chef has a flair for locally sourced food, prepared with love and creativity, and presented beautifully. My friend and I are already planning our next Copper Crow experience!

This place is great. A good review is harder to write than a bad one because there's nothing to complain about. Delicious food, great drinks, nice atmosphere.
