Go to Ted's Fish Fry for over 30 years and I'm never disappointed! I always get the fish with tartaric acid sauce because guess what?! It is a “Fischer-Flügel” joint and that is what they are known for and how they could expand over the years! A simple delicious fish frit that tastes the same since my first bite over 30 years ago! This trip was disappointing. I usually love this place. This trip I got the lunch special as usual. The fish was bland and there was an issue with the slaw. While I was disappointed I have had enough good experiences at least 3 times a month for the past 3 years) to not write this place off. I will be back again next week and will keep you posted. I am blown away with the outstanding customer service at Teds Fish Fry on Wolf Rd, I live in VA now and was visiting family in the area and my husband asked for me to bring back Teds Fish Fry. I ask when ordering if they could pack it to bring back with me to VA and wow did they ever. They even packed it in a plastic container and super wrapped them up. My husband was so thrilled when I brought them home. He loved every bite of them. Thank you so much Wolf rd , It is why always make sure we get to Teds Fish Fry when in town...... You are the greatest.
I brought my kids to this place after coming to Ted's as a kid. My parents grew up in troy. The food is great and hasn't changed much. We went to the wolf rd location and it was super nice inside. I have to admit going in to a nice looking modern Ted's is not what I expected but I guess you have to change with the times.
This is the best place every time we come to NY we have to stop and have a fish fry or two or three!
Very 'BESTEST ' Fish Fry I have ever eaten. Wish they had a place in southern NJ in the Cape May area. Whenever my Family and myself are in the Tri city area visiting Ted 's Fish Fry is a 1st and forever stop. Great Food plus service to match No better Fish Fry than a TED 'S !!!
I remember when the fish was .15 cents and .25 cents. My husband and I still enjoy their fish but some of them are to small for the price. Back then they were big.
