This scenic little restaurant is amazing. The food is good from this world. The best curry seafood I've ever had. Too bad I'm gone for two hours, or I'd be here every weekend. My family and I showed up here after my graduation, and it was the best decision ever. View all feedback.
What PHILLFS doesn't like about Sukhothai:
I'm disappointed with the shrimp omelet; and I'm not too hard to please! The pad thai seems runny and too sweet. I never usually disappointed in thai restaurants, but this one seems an exception: View all feedback.

Cheap and delicious. I'm so glad I found this little hole in the wall. The BBQ Steak is a must-have; the Cilantro really combines it all together. All the food in the picture was just $14.
Delicious Thai in a cute room I loved this place. It was in a building down in a small but picturesque environment. Everything was clean, alive and funny and simply enough space for the 4 of us at a table with some bags. When we left, it was quiet, but finally busy and for good reason the food was delicious and made fast. Spice levels are a little at the bottom for me, but I could see how someone could find it a little so make sure you know what you order! Everything else was made fresh and beautifully plated. A great location.
The food is delicious. The portions are so large that even 2 people can share one order (or just take home). They have a rich menu, the prices and service are great. It's a very small restaurant, but has the traditional Thai food taste.
The concierge at the hotel where I was staying recommended this place, and I admit I was skeptical when I approached it, considering how mundane it appears from the outside, but don't be fooled. The Thai food I ate here might be the best I have had in my life. If you want to chat with friends, catch up with family, or simply enjoy a satisfying, sumptuously creamy meal by yourself, this is the place to go. There are no frills, and it's not ostentatious. The noodles are thick and hearty, the arrangement of spices is vibrant without being overwhelming, and the medley of both meat and vegetarian options available is quite comprehensive and varied. There's so many tiny subtleties to the texture and the flavor of your getting here, enough so that every bite feels like something of a minor revelation. If you are in Albany, come here. I will certainly be returning the next time I am in town.
