Spicy Mint Indian Cuisine - Albany

Recently visited the restaurant with 5 other guests for buffet.Food was not great,Roti was hard and there not enough starters.Got the big surprise when Bill was arrived with 18% gratiuty charge even if we're there for Buffet so technically we shouldn't get charged with that 18% gratuity charge and also that charge was legally incorrect because they charge it after including the 8% NY Tax.I always tip when the bill comes but getting charged with 18% gratuity charge on total bill included the NY tax felt like we were blackmailed.Never gonna visit the restaurant again with such attitudes towards the customers..

I am from NJ. I was on a visit to to Albany and had lunch. The food was delicious and the service was great. If a get a chance I will definitely come here again.

The food was good until I used the lady's room. It was filthy with dead bugs on the floor and in the toilet, cockroaches. No toilet paper, just the jug that looked like a watering pot for flowers, nothing to accommodate an American nonmuslim female. No paper towels or hand soap to use at all. I reported it to the person behind the counter and they acted like I had 2 left heads. The food didn't seem so great then. Made me wonder about the hygiene of the people cooking and handling the food. Never again.

Nice, small place. Good food. Quick and attentive service.

Can't get enough of this place the food is amazing tasty and worth the money I'm a regular customer now tbh idk what they do but however they do it don't stop pls the chli chicken and tandoori is to die for not to mention the goat curry omg amazing I love it and the staff is very friendly and polite keep up the good work guys and I'll probably go there again on Saturday ???????????????????
