We had a cousins' reunion at Pete's Duck Inn in Albany, Indiana. We had a wonderful time. Laughed and loved being together. The service was terrific. The food was good. We came from Florida, Missouri, Ohio and Indiana. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich...my first at a restaurant. It was huge and I couldn't finish it. We have enjoyed many meals at the Duck and look forward to many more. View all feedback.
What Diane Sharpe doesn't like about Petes Duck Inn:
I love to see a local place do well. This Saturday business was booming. When the wait became 30 minutes some customers elected not to wait. There were empty tables and yet people waiting? Some tables sat empty for over ten minutes. The food was a little greasy for my taste. Vegetables with too much oil on them. Pork chops were tasty View all feedback.
Food at Pete's is the best. This place has the best pork chops, chicken and anything else on the menu. As a corner bar this place could stop selling booze and still make it big just selling food. The bar is nice for the locals and the food brings in the people from all over the place. Good service also.
If you can't make a decision order the tenderloin Budweiser juicer.
Great Remembrance. Reaching up to get great sandwiches at the back window as a kid in the 70's. Family members eating inside and bringing food home. Pete has done a great job. Helping to keep my memory of the Green Duck Inn. I had eaten Pete's food catered to Albany Golf Club. Very tasty food. I went to Pete's today. Ordered 3 breaded tenderloins and 2 side items. Total was under $25. What a deal. Fed 4 adults and not a speck left. Thanks Pete
The pan fried chicken is really good. However they don't have it on Sundays. This is typical American food. Steaks, pork chops, sandwiches. The food is solid and the beer is cheap. The ambience is authentic and the bartenders/waitresses are nice. The only downsides are that it has no windows and can get a bit musty inside.
Much better now since it's not Pete's Duck INN. They have new management I believe and completely remodeled the restaurant and have a completely different menu.
